Account & Sign In

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password and enter your email address. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.

I can't sign in to my account

  • Make sure you're using the same email address you registered with.
  • Try resetting your password using the link on the sign-in screen.
  • Check your internet connection and try again.
  • If the issue persists, contact us and we'll look into it.

I want to delete my account

You can delete your account directly in the app. Go to Settings and tap Delete Account at the bottom of the page. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data.

Data & Sync

My stats aren't syncing

  • Ensure you're connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  • Pull down to refresh on the main screen.
  • Sign out and sign back in to force a sync.
  • Make sure the app is up to date in the App Store.

I accidentally deleted a round

Deleted rounds cannot currently be recovered automatically. If you believe your data was lost due to a technical issue (rather than manual deletion), contact us and we'll do our best to help.

Will my data transfer to a new phone?

Yes. As long as you sign in with the same account on your new device, all your round history and stats will sync automatically.

In-App Purchases

I made a tip jar purchase but nothing changed

The tip jar is a voluntary way to support development — it doesn't unlock additional features. All features in Simple Golf Stats are completely free. Thank you for your support!

App Issues

The app is crashing or behaving unexpectedly

  • Force-quit the app and reopen it.
  • Restart your iPhone.
  • Check the App Store for an available update.
  • If the problem continues, email us with your device model and iOS version so we can investigate.

Something looks wrong with my statistics

If your stats or trends don't look right, try logging out and back in to refresh your data. If you notice a calculation that seems incorrect, let us know — include details about the round and the stat in question and we'll look into it.
